THE RAIN AND YOU....
I wait outside,
As clouds pass by,
The winds race fast,
Having a blast,
It is going to rain,
Although in pain,
I wait in the lane
For a chance to feel you again.
The clouds flow with the wind,
Darkened sky, lights dimmed,
Heavy and darkened, they saunter,
Pregnant with loads of water,
Flow along with the cool air,
That comes from the land of yours,
Carrying your smell and fragrance
To me waiting with positive valence
To inhale you,
Feeling as I do
You around me,
As I wait near the grassy lea,
For the clouds to pour,
Empty all they store.
Soon the clouds roar,
Lightening dances like never before,
The trees sway and bow,
For their thirst will be quenched now,
Birds fly away to their nests,
To keep their fledglings warm under their breasts,
I still stand here
Waiting for the first drops to fall there,
The clouds suddenly burst,
I get wet in the sudden watery spurt,
I spread out my hands to feel the drops,
As they have touched you on your rooftop,
As they touch my skin, I feel you touching me,
All my passions and emotions, one with thee.
I feel you all over me and around,
My feet happy on the wet ground,
As the raindrops lash, I feel your arms
Around me and my bosom warms,
My love has found you again,
In the raindrops new, hidden,
Now I can wait longer in patience,
Rejuvenated, with warm emotions.
