DAWN

The blue sky blushes a pink,
As I sit and think
The morning's beauty drink,
See everything with nature sync.

The cool morning air,
Whistling past my ear,
Blowing away my hair,
From my face bare.

The houses by the riverside,
Still in the last shreds of darkness hide,
The inhabitants sleep inside
The horses of the Sun's chariot, get ready for their ride.

Soon a gold and amber will spread,
The leaves the dew drops shed,
Cattle will raise their head,
People will be out of their beds.

All will get ready to welcome a new dawn,
Birds will chirp and butterflies dance thereon,
I sip in the beauty of the morn before it's gone,
As the Sun's chariot readies to move on.
