DEEP LOVE

Where gold splashes by
The blue of the ocean and the azure sky,
On that rocky green island is my Queen of Heart's abode,
She awaits me, doe eyed, golden locks flowing in a cascade.

Time flies by
Carefully and slowly tread I
The roads are rugged and rocky,
They hurt my feet but cannot stop me.

I walk on the hot sands
My feet singe and burn,
The wounds hurt,
In this scorching sandy desert.

I cannot fall short,
Nursing my wounds with a piece of my shirt,
With a suddenness I spurt,
I hurry along, any time lapse to avert.

I then meet the ocean strong,
To swim the last stretch of my journey long,
As they throw me back, I struggle with the mighty waves,
Again I swim again towards my island enclave.

My breath tries to fail me,
I send to God my humble plea
To enable me to reach her
Before I get transported to a world another.

I climb the rocks,
Reach her land and knock,
Fall down in in front of her and faint,
She looking at me like a pure, beautiful Saint.

I opened my eyes and found myself in her arms,
I felt her heart against her bosom warm,
Felt her kisses and her love deep,
Before slipping into my forever sleep.
