AND, JUST LIKE THAT SUMMER FELL INTO FALL
The grey sky makes way for a soft blue one,
The dark clouds leave, in the soft fluffs run,
The Sun arrives a little late,
Evenings come early; a cool breeze knocks on my gate,
The night jasmine blossoms,
Spreading a fragrance, sweet and awesome,
The emerald greens change
Into bright topaz and coral orange,
A crop of pumpkins galore,
Decorating the farms and the floor of our store,
We look forward to festivities,
The songs of migratory birds, luscious apples and berries,
Trees prepare to shed leaves, dropping them down all,
The pleasant days end gradually, with the winter's call,
And, just like that, summer fell into fall.
