One morning in the mountains,
The golden light whispered your name,
As though love lived in the sun.
I held the warmth in my palms,
Imagining it was you.
Every glimmer on the rocks
Carried a secret meant for us.
The river hummed softly,
Like a lullaby I knew by heart.
I traced the horizon
And found your smile there.
Love felt endless,
Like the mountains themselves.
Even the quiet moments
Sparkled when I thought of you.
I breathed in the morning,
Breathing in your memory.
The golden light grew fuller,
Settling gently on my skin.
I knew then
That love does not fade,
It transforms,
It lingers,
It shines.
Just like this morning light.
