One morning in the mountains,
The golden light wrapped around us,
Soft as a lover’s breath.
Your hand found mine,
As if it had always known the way.
The valley glowed with promise,
With the hush of new love.
Birds traced melodies
Across the shimmering sky.
You smiled,
And the sun rose brighter.
Even the breeze paused,
Listening to your heartbeat.
I felt the world shrink
To just your warmth and mine.
Every step beside you
Felt like a poem unfolding.
Every glance you gave
Lit another fire in me.
Time walked gently then,
Cradling us in its palms.
Mountains stood witness
To our tender beginning.
And the golden light promised
It would return tomorrow,
Tomorrow, just for us.
