MY LOVE POEM

Throbbing heart
A scarlet nibbed pen
Sleepy starry night
That refuses to die

Bare canvas of life awaits
Counting the minutes as they slipped by
Smiling away, silencing the inner howls
The lashes flutter to keep away the thousand naps

The velvety sky
Shining with the shimmer of stars
Hue of the many coloured clouds
Hide beneath the colours, all the pain of scars

A love that blossomed in the summer
Under the pale blue sky
Is still alive in my verses and never ever
lost in time, throbbing and pulsating
seeking the life giving love serum

I set sail in the boat of eternal love, rowing across the river of “ life”
Where memories come and bubbles of emotions float
Few giant waves crash before me
Others, the happy ones create joyous  ripples

My poem, a tale of affection and ardour
Running through the veins, palpitating with my heart
so weak, yet so strong, alive forever
Tell me,
Will you now be my partner in love and commit an innocent sin?
