Hey winter!

Hey winter!!
You of a cold bitter,
When winds blow with a noise shrill
And a bone invading chill,
Do not come hither,
Nor so quicker,
For I do not like the long dreary nights,
The fog that blurrs my sight,
Painful frost bites,
And everything dressed in white,
A cold gloom descends on me,
As the darkness continues its spree
And I sit indoors,
With a fire that rages and roars,
Stifling me,
Suffocating me,
For I am a free bird,
Not wanting to get burred
By the quills and barbs of a thorny winter,
I want to fly around and feel the warmth in the air,
Warming up in the golden glow of the sun
Soaking up all colours and stun,
I do not want to hibernate,
Just carry on with my happy gait,
Do away with the blizzards and ice cold storms,
Hey winter! Stony coldness aint for me, just want to be bright and warm!!
