WINTERY LOVE




Winter cold,
Shivering trees old,
White sheet of mist,
Turns and twists
Of the winding road,
Wet with the load 
Of the condensed droplets,
Gray chill hiding secrets
Of lovelorn hearts,
A warmth it imparts,
Cloaked in hot, smoking passions,
Melting in the white environs,
Smell of pines,
Early song of oscines,
Creating mystery,
A different story,
Like wine soaked raisins,
Irresistible cravings
Of love and embrace
Just surface,
Out of the creases
Epinephrine releases,
When in the smoky haze,
Branches' maze,
Everything around melts,
With no care for anything else, 
As we walk hand in hand, gloom turns to ecstasy,
Melodies reverberate, weaving colourful fantasies.
