DANCE OF HOPE..
Nature in all abundance,
Shining, colourful green,
All washed and clean,
Peaceful and serene.
Emerald banana leaves,
Hanging like the shading eaves,
Green shoots and sheaves
A green intricate latticework they weave.
Earth in all its fertility,
Is a picture of desirability,
If there be a possibility,
I would freeze this beauty to eternity.
'Piu-piu', the peacock calls
As the dark clouds roll,
Spreading its plumes like a coverall
It dances and enthralls.
The bright blue and green
Of the crescent sheen,
Shimmering colours of interference,
Glimmering coloured bowls of indentations.
Dancing in hope
Of rains, on the grassy patch, on the slopes,
Dancing like a soft soap,
Presenting a colourful kaleidoscope.
The green soothes the eyes,
The mind it does stabilise,
Different feelings arise
Seeing nature as in abundance it lies.
Want to freeze this and the dance of hope in a picture,
To see them hanging on my walls in future,
Priding in the innocent, virgin beauty of nature,
Pray she remains thus, we never lose her.
