THE TRAVELLERS

The travellers,
We all are,
Coming to a new world,
Newer visions,
Different ways of life,
Passing through time
Endless,
Braving fierce winds,
The scorching sunbeams,
Floating on the waters
In our cocooned vessels,
Searching for new worlds,
Galaxies,
A different universe,
Flying, hiking,
Strutting, jogging,
Different colours,
Complexions and races,
Rooted to created faiths
And religions,
Fighting, annexing,
Losing, winning,
At times so full of love
Hatred speaketh at other times,
All trying to surpass each other,
To prove superiority,
Seeking worlds of fantasy
Snatching lands of the downtrodden,
Taking away from flora and fauna,
Running to hold time
In our palms
As it slips away like sand,
Still we move on
To look for our paradise,
Our land of dreams,
Ignorant that
However much we traverse,
Forwards or reverse,
Looking for new lands,
Trying to create our colourful worlds,
Creating something new,
Or destroying a few;
Finally we all have to travel to 'His' lands,
A land of bliss, where happiness rules,
Peace thrives,
Unity and equality for all
There is practised,
All one, in one world,
United in 'God's own Kingdom'.
