LOVE'S KINGDOM
The boats and the hills
Stood witness to their silent thrills,
The water rippling,
Their pulses throbbing,
Hearts glowing
With new love flowing,
Hand in hand,
They looked beyond
The horizon,
In lovelorn silence,
Creating a dream world
Where beautiful flowers unfurled
With a touch of their love,
There danced white peacocks and doves,
Pearly pebbles strewn along the ways,
Butterflies flies flew everywhere all days,
Oysters and snails clamoured upto them,
Sun shone like a big, bright orange gem,
Birds singing in a melodious chorus,
Hung around the tortoise and walrus,
Roses coloured themselves with the red of their hearts,
Passions played aloud in every part,
Cheered them the bright yellow of daffodils,
Danced with their love the blood red lilies,
Silent promises were made in absolute abstruseness,
With the sun, the flowers, the birds all standing witness,
Buttercups smiled along with the velvety greens,
He was the 'King of Love' there and she his 'Love Queen',
It was throbbing, full of passions, here love kindled,
This was their land of dreams, 'Love's Kingdom'.
