THE LONELY LIGHTHOUSE
The azure red sky,
The golden bun high,
It is the lemon yellow sun,
Oh! The day has begun,
Colouring the ocean a deep orange,
Blue changing into a fiery auburn rage,
Begins the sun's journey
In the wee hours of the morn early,
In glee the waves dance,
Birds and peacocks prance,
Breeze carries the fragrance of the morning flowers,
Dewdrops slide down the leaves as pearly showers,
The mist withdraws,
Warming up in the golden applause,
Small girls gather the strewn night jasmine,
Dogs sleepy as they have always been,
Snuggling up around each other,
Early cries of a baby, nursed by her mother,
Tremendous activity follows,
As the sun's horses gallop,
Birds chirp,
Moon perturbed
Same as me,
As I wait for thee
In the lonely lighthouse,
In your love I souse,
Waiting for your ship till eternity,
Even if the hours, months, years lose their certainty,
Me and my love will stand forever
Waiting in the lighthouse, quitting never ever.
