NATURE

Clear blue sky,
Majestic mountains high
Dressed in velvety green,
Floating clouds white and clean,
The crystal clear river,
Green with the reflection of mountains in the water,
Green, grassy meadows,
Shimmering as the wind blows
Over them,
Shiny pebbles forming the river's hem,
Tall conical spruces,pines,cedars,
Dark oaks and deodars,
Lining up the valley,
Vibrant flowers in every alley,
Fruit laden trees in the orchards,
Also houses to chirping,colourful birds.

Haunting gorges,ravines and kloofs
Beautiful cottages, with green and red roofs,
Flying swallows,
Hopping sparrows,
Small little humming bird,
Beautiful spotted lady bird,
Cherries, plums and peaches,
Pears, apples and lychees,
Walnuts and almonds,
As precious as diamonds,
Fresh oxygenated air,
Blows with a flare,
Filling up the veins with new blood,
As happiness floods
And reflects in the eyes and heart
That sits up with a start
As the dreamland departs,
Leaving all shattered .

Torn apart and shattered,
Nature's bosom and breast,
The blast of Dynamite,
Bringing in the light
Of technology and science,
Loosing all conscience;
And the difference
Between
The right and wrong,
We torture 'Nature' with painful prongs,
Cut down forests, blast the hills,
Snatch away the home of bears, elephants, hornbills,
Build concrete structures,
Causing dangerous fractures,
Puncture her beauty with several warrens,
Leaving her barren,
Leading to sparse rains,
Drying up the streams, rivers and drains,
Many species fell prey to the ideosyncracies of humans,
Leaving nothing beautiful for the future generations.

Let us gear up, lest all is lost,
We may land up paying a huge cost,
With the green cover gone,
Not a dear around, nor a fawn,
No peacocks, kites, eagles,
Nor any swans, ducks or seagulls,
No colourful flowers,
Left without pearly, cool rain showers,
Devoid of butterflies,
Lights of fireflies,
No streams gushing,
No rivers flowing,
Without any fresh air,
We will leave our heirs
A barren, brown, hardened earth,
Killing nature, coz we had no hearts,
Let us all preserve,
Protect and conserve
Nature in all its forms,
Mend our ways, reform
To revive 'Nature' in all its glory,
There is less time,so let us hurry,
So our children do not curse
For the destructions caused by us,
Instead in the loving arms of 'Nature' they flourish,
All its beauty and creations they too cherish.
