IN THE CITY OF VENICE..



The Gothic mansions and palaces
Beautiful in the city of Venice,
Canals strewn with flower petals
Is where I want to go with you, to settle.

Rowing in a beautiful gondola,
Painted a red, like acerola, 
Some faint strains of a romantic song floating
In the air, our passions exploding.

The leaves brushing against my cheeks,
Eyes soaking in the beauty that speaks,
Soft sound of the oars,
Making my heart crave for more.

The branches showering
Fresh buds flowering,
Crystal clear water,
Reflecting everything like a mirror.

Hand in hand climbing the bell tower,
Twinkling eyes looking below from altitudes higher,
Red roofs below coloured with the colours of emotions,
Both our hearts too swimming in a red ocean.

At peace and in love
Flowing out from every corner, each alcove,
Thus I want to start on a journey of bliss,
Feeling you in a soft kiss, in the city of Venice.
