CHRISTMAS BELLS...



The bells of Christmas ring,
Happiness, cheer and joy they bring,
Joyous festivities, choirs singing,
Sharing and caring,
The decorated Christmas tree,
Make the children smile in glee,
The shining star bright,
Colourful festoons and lights,
Hanging mistletoe,
Warding off all woes,
Fragrant, freshly baked cakes,
Gifts for one and all to take,
Mass in churches,
Singing of verses,
The Lord's blessings we all seek,
Praying for the mighty and the meek,
There is bonhomie and friendliness,
Geniality and cheerfulness,  
Although fearfully cold and chilling,
The spirit of Christmas is so fulfilling,
Spreading warmth, love and cheer,
With messages of peace and brotherhood clear,
Santa keeps all our hopes alive,
The Christmas spirit may always survive,
Peace, care, love and the ringing bells may forever thrive.
