A NEW MOM AGAIN...
Small lil chicks chirping
In the golden light of the morn
Make me a new Mom again.
I feel their happy laughter,
Their tweety calls for food
Are answered by their mother
And me the God-mother,
In them I see the reflection
Of my children,
Their furry soft bodies
Remind me of the soft baby skin
Of the lil ones I once held in my hands,
The small opening beaks
Resemble the innocent angelic smiles,
Continuous chirping
Remind me of the shrieks and gurglings
Of the cherubs when ecstatic,
As the chicks fall on each other
The baby falling on his sides
As he tried to get up by himself
Passed infront of my eyes,
Day by day I see them grow,
Experiencing my motherhood days again.
God's ways are great,
All children made
So similar,
So did He make all mothers;
All full of love,
Always caring,
Nurturing,
Helping the kids to grow,
To take their own steps
And one day just fly away.
As for now I enjoy
The new found motherhood
And being a new Mom again.
