As The Moon Plays..
The moon playing hide and seek,
Amidst the dark peaks
Of grey, thunderous clouds that speak,
They roar aloud and shriek,
As a bat or an owl sneak
Out in the night bleak,
Brushing against the night's cheek,
As the playful moon light, spreads oblique.
Sailing on the wings of the breeze,
Stirring and shaking the cluster of trees,
The clouds float with comfort and ease,
Making the moon frown and crease,
As the light clouds just tease
Her,with a soft,velvety tweeze,
Her dimpled cheeks freeze
With the cold,cloudy lees.
As an aircraft just passes by,
Near the moon and the stars in the sky,
Passing through the darkening clouds high,
The moon trying to catch it's eyes,
Hiding between the rolling clouds with a sigh,
Coming in and out, as the clouds did ply,
When the craft did come nigh,
She was hidden as the clouds did multiply.
I stand still and look for her,
Waiting for a stimulating spur,
To make her come out of her covers,
Everything stood still, nothing seemed to stir,
Everything stood where it were,
I choose not to deter,
Standing in the cool breeze, I prefer
To wait for Diana,as many in the world refer.
With her arty game she continues,
While I wait to catch her glimpse,
I want to reach her,go to her venue,
Crossing all alleys and avenues,
As she plays the role of an ingenue,
I wonder how can the clouds detinue
Her;And I peep out of my window,
Longing to be a part of her retinue.
Soon the strong wind blows,
And as it winnows,
Along with it the clouds flow
Away and far they go,
The smiling moon then did tip toe,
Her radiant face, to the world to show,
Oh! She looked beautiful so,
Basking in her own glow.
With a deep breath I took in her beauty,
In complete and absolute piety,
Her hiding away was a form of cruelty,
To all her lovers, who love her truly,
Immensely and profusely,
Each day as they wait coolly,
Every day seeing her newly,
Enjoying the moon and her playfulness thoroughly.
