THE FLOWING NECTAR

Born of white pure snow,
I shine as crystal and glow,
Like a maiden's gait I flow,
Jumping over the rocks, I grow.

Gurgling and rippling
With energy refreshing,
I carry the nectar, that's  life giving
To all of you,on your mother earth, so loving.

As I roll down frolicking,
I quiten down the plains,depositing
All my goodness within,leaving
With all your burdens, but still smiling.

You wash your sins, dump garbage, chemicals, hoping
I will wash away all the misdeeds, your dirt, quietly flowing,
But with all this within me I am pained and anguished,
My heart bleeds,narrowed,I suffocate,feel banished.

You literally rape me and abuse,
My kindness you take for granted and misuse,
When still I flow on and on without a complain,
Why grudge when my tears flood you?Why the complaints!

Get up and beware, unless you want to leave generations
Waterless,thirsty,leaving behind a dead civilization.
If you want your elixir of life, love me,give some respect
And I pledge the same to you, promise to never neglect
You all, earth's children, nor make your life wrecked..

This is about the sad state of our rivers today, all due to us humans
