Loneliness wears your silhouette,
It borrows your voice at dusk,
I mistake the wind for you.
Waiting feels like devotion,
Each second kneels.
My heart learns patience from stars,
They love from far away.
I set a place for you in dreams.
Even emptiness glows,
Longing perfumes the dark,
I sigh your name softly,
so silence won’t break.
Watching the horizon blush,
I believe in returns.
Enduring feels intimate,
like holding hands with time,
Hopelessness flirts,
but never stays.
I imagine your steps,
teaching floors to listen,
Loneliness becomes a bridge,
not a wall.
Missing you sharpens love,
The wait writes poetry in me,
I am faithful to tomorrow.
