the sky's adorned
adorned with flower bands
together the clarinet
and crickets sing
decorative rangolis
radiate colors all around
fireworks crackle
and the dancing air flutters
and merges into the echo
the dark night
a silky black
is decorated with lamps today
the stars and the sky have descended
with a pink hued wind
to kiss the heart of the earth
the flame sways today
under the cover of the darkened night
decorated by a procession
the procession of the twinkling stars..
