AND SHE FLEW AWAY..

She flew around,
At times touching the ground,
Feeling ,
Kissing
All her loved ones,
With the fresh breeze she comes,
Waiting for that known touch,
Love like old times much,
But she could not stir them,
She went unnoticed, like dumb
She felt, to them when she talked
And them she hugged.

She moved around
And unknown faces she found,
Very few known faces did she notice,
Her own would move away, never did she know this,
Her ones she loved, this day had ditched her,
Why she wondered; then she saw her son and daughter,
Loving grandsons, in- laws, neighbours,
They all were there
Offering tributes,
Lovingly talking about what to their lives she did contribute,
She could feel their love abundant
As she prepared to transcend.

She had to leave them and go,
Very well did she know,
One last time she wanted to embrace
Them all and celebrate,
To wipe away all the droplets streaming down their eyes,
The tears that she so despised,
Doing away with all their grief and sadness,
Spreading love in her abstractness,
Taking away all unhappiness and fear,
Then she saw her children smiling through their tears,
Both strong and stable, for her they prayed,
Convinced of their maturity and strength, she smiled and she flew away.
