GONE

He was gone, gone again. Just like before. Oh why did she trust him? Everyone said not to leave him alone. But he never liked carrying baggage with him. But he was down the dumps. Incapable of rational or logical thinking.
The other day he drove the car himself, made the driver wait for hours without any reason. She received a call asking for him. Tried to contact, but to no avail. With great difficulty they could reach him; She and her son along with the driver, found him at an unknown spot. He had consumed something to finish himself off. He wasn't in his senses, only talking of an end.
He puked and he groaned. He fell, hurt himself. She bore it all. Attending to him for full two days. Then when he was fine, helped him out with pep talks. Motivating, inspiring.
Then he started work and now again he leaves. She rushes to the Police station.  He isn't taking calls. Her cries and tears move the sturdy men. They put his phone on tracking. But he had switched off the phone. She felt her world crashing. Everything around was dark and arid. The salt hurt her eyes, her throat choked..she was on the verge of collapse, when the police man got through his number. Through the mist in her eyes, she saw a ray of light, a ray of hope... Will she get to see him !Well she might!
