THE FALLEN ONE

She is the fallen one they say,
Brought back home one day,
God knows from where,
But she was scared, her face writ with fear,
She was a few months ago abducted,
Abused and corrupted,
Sold away to a brothel for some money,
Brutalised and raped day and night by many,
By God's grace she was rescued and brought home,
Where she was a fallen soul, never welcome,
No body sees the brutal scars her body bore,
Nobody hears the quite tears her heart cries sore,
With her they are burdened and disgraced,
They argue that she was better off as dead ,
Eagerly they wait for her to breathe her last breath,
Alone, deserted, misunderstood, unloved; she quietly waits for her death.
