MY EYES
The very day I first saw you,
Seeking your attention,
Waiting for one touch of affection,
Aching to be in your strong arms,
You too were not untouched by my charms,
You would stop by,
Looking me into the eye,
A pink I blushed,
My fair face flushed,
When you passed by my heart beat fast,
Wanting the moments to forever last,
I know my life is short lived
I am content with the love looks you give,
An not even a fragment
of your entity; so I celebrate the present,
This life is transient,
After a few days I will be absent,
So I capture your face in my eyes,
To take you with me to the skies;
And no my eyes will not cry,
With love I will bid you goodbye.
