SIGNS OF HOPE
The twittering of birds
In the early morning hours,
Bring with it immense joy and for life
Many signs of hope.
Two glittering eyes,
Smiling with joy,
So full of optimism
And shining with hope.
The cherub in the cradle
Fast asleep, still holding
The mother's finger,
So full of trust and hope.
The sun bringing in hopes of new life,
The moon bringing in hopes of a new dawn,
Noble deeds keeping alive the hopes
Of goodness and kindness.
My small little prayer,
My small conversations with 'Him', my Lord
Keeping alive my aspirations, expectations,
A belief in His magnanimity, my signs of hope.
