COLD SNOW..
Standing near the old window
I see the bone chilling wind blow
Outside, gloomy, as if the sun has lost its glow,
Up in the sky shining though,
A sheet of white snow ahead,
Cold and still that I always dread,
The chill of the wind get in through the cracks
Same as frustrations show through in the gaps
Of our cold winter like relationship,
Passing through a wintery trip,
Cold and gloomy,
With no one to hear me,
To hold me near,
Address me as someone dear,
The leafless branches,
Make me feel my barenness,
Separates me from all a thick sheet of snow,
Working as a barrier between me and you,
No sign of life around,
Only silence hops in leaps and bounds,
Cold window panes make me see through you,
I know the love now does not hold true,
It has melted and flown away
Sometime on a hot summer day,
What is left now are ice cold emotions,
White as death, some snowy passions,
A cold me,
Colder than thee,
A frozen relation,
A heart barren,
Still waiting hopefully
For the spring to return in all its glory,
When new leaves will sprout,
Birds will begin to chirp and sing aloud,
The snow will give way to the spring flowers,
Sweetly smiling away my times sour,
My heart will flow with red passions,
Completely in love again
With life and me,
When melting snow will wipe away, cold memories of thee.
