MAUVE AND LAVENDER

The trees blossoming into flowers
Coloured a beautiful mauve and lavender,
Welcoming me, the tired traveller,
A soothing fragrance in the atmosphere.

The evening sun peeps from the other end,
The green of the grass with the mauve blend
Creating a weave of emeralds and amethyst,
Wonders of nature, the great dramatist.

I sit on of the benches,
Peeping through the colourful trenches,
The colourfully dressed branches,
Stirring up my five senses.

I wish you were here,
Amidst all this, with me a sightseer,
Our eyes fixed in a glare
At the beauty austere.

The colours would add magic
To our love in this lavendery pelagic,
In our hearts, weave in colourful emotions,
Igniting new mauve-lavender passions.
