ETERNAL BLISS

That day my heart,
To her I did bequeath,
Travelling through a river
Of emotions forever,
I did not doubt her,
Never ever
Of soiling my heart,
Tearing it apart,
Breaking it to pieces,
So the blood oozes
And reddens the earth,
No! Never will she let me suffer any burst
Of pain nor agony
And always save me from catastrophe.

She held my heart in her soft palms,
Wrapped up in rose petal balms,
All around fragrant rose petals she spread,
Quietly her breath tread,
So not the heart to hurt,
All agile to safe keep my love in it,inert,
Her veins cushioning it like silken threads,
Her hands and nails tinted red
With my blood, so full of passions
For her beauty, love and painstaking actions
To protect both my heart and my love,
Like gems in her hands, so that of her pain I have no inkling of,
She quietly went on with her efforts
Never once thinking to flee and desert.

To her I will remain indebted,
Of saving my love, I give her full credit,
Against all odds she abetted
To safekeep my heart; so its beats go uninterrupted,
In her tiny fragrant world the heart breathes,
Covered by floral sheets,
Engulfed by the sweet rosy whiffs,
Soft musical strains of her breath like riffs,
Comforted by fragrant rosy hued petals,
In the soft cocoon of her hands, I settle,
My throbbing heart thrives,
My love survives,
Her lips feed me with a love kiss,
I slip into eternal bliss!
