the lips stay quiet
emotions calmed
the feelings drown
in the voiceless chaos
but my wicked heart
thumps and pumps

bringing to the fore

the gawky presence
the funny pretence
forcing the blood to rush
and colour me
colour me a passionate pink
a pink of the love
the love that was concealed
to be disclosed neither to you
